these are part of a larger collection when its done will span the entire book. these are still tecknically works in progress but i like how they're coming along. Horror illustration is much fun to do.  

The imperial city

so this is my attempt at a more industrial environment. yes its just lots of blocks but i need to get out of just doing organic landscapes.
I thought it would be cool to make a militaristic imperial looking city but not make it look like London or Berlin. I've always had a thing for italian architecture so i thought it would be cool to imagine Rome or Florence if Mussolini had won. of course if Mussolini hadn't ended up swinging from a lamp post most of this would be white.

i will probably update this later with some flags n stuff.

REPER soldier

So ive been reading This book is full of spiders. the sequel to john dies at the end. so far its pretty cool reading a monster zombie outbreak from the first person, but it being mostly about the people involved rather than just a story that cant wait to get to the action bits. So in the story these special forces guys show up and are all kited out to take on the zombie apocalypse. I researched a lot of combat and riot gear covering all the important bits but still allowing movement. the helmet is modeled on a US air force helmet. its creepy and kind of makes him look like an asshole.
