villain

so this is the villain from the comic I'm working on. yes I know he's the usual tron/ raiden rubber suit getup bullcrap.But i wanted to subtly change his anatomy to make him slightly off. the arms and legs are too long and his shoulders are basically non existent. giving him a sort of muscular corps feel. I imagine he would move like a panther or some big predator and would kill using his hands. That and the intense angular shapes to the head I wanted to convey a element of masculine beauty mixed with something grotesque. A bit like pyramid head from the silent hill film.

orrible istories

Some time ago I managed to work on the horrible histories game AD/BC's tome tour a rotten rehearsal. for the BBC.  Not only did i get to contribute to a franchise I have loves since i was a kid, but i also got to work with a great team and spend most of the days drawing funny and awesome stuff. if i could have more commissions like this I would be a very happy monster.

Merc pilot

During the second world war in china ant the pacific theater there was an influx of mercenary pilots liiking for glory and cash. they where a mismatched group of retired or disgraced world war one pilots, stunt fighters looking for the latest thrill and even airline pilots who wanted to test their metal. for the life of me i have no idea why there are so few stories about them. not sure how many women pilots there whee but i bet there where a few. anyway. here's to them. those crazy sonesobitches.
