Drive

Drive was a surprisingly good film. this shot does not actually exist in the film but i thought it looked good as an illustrative composition. as you never know the drivers name, his face is hidden, but I would be stupid to not show the scorpion on his back.

unexpected

Ive recently been toying with the idea of doing a series of pinups and artwork of a more erotic nature. I have a great love and respect for the pre and post ww2 pinup painters, and I thought that would be a good start. its funny how important the use of line work is in paintings such as these. loose it and somehow the charm of the painting is diminished.

I'm looking forward to Prometheus this summer. the scenes from Alien on the hostile planet are some of my favorites from the film. the mystery that slowly unravels of the mysterious ship is so tantalizing I cant wait for the back story.
