some work for dungeons and dragons.
referenced cutlers last stand for this one and other such paintings. i don't know why
but it seems that paintings of last stands have a real impact in western and eastern culture.

The woods are lovely dark and deep

when i was shown this animation i was blown away.
you can show me all the most competent and realistic 3D animation with creatures and robots
and explosions. but all will pale before the might of a frenchman with a watercolor set.

the main thing that adds to the charm of this short film is its simplicity. this has been done by one man useing programs you can easally get for free if you're clever enough.

the colors are beautiful, the sound and the shots and pacing are just right.

if i had it my way, this is how i would re shoo the moomins. all dark and harsh and mysterious.
I highly recommend you watch in full view on the highest setting.

i'm ready to face my new animaion project now.
